Students needed more practice solving for a missing angle
 ** ABSENT STUDENTS pick up the Naming Triangle Notes & complete the 10 Stations Problems**)

In Class:
1st hour
Many students took the Quiz #1 7.1-7.3

2nd-6th hours:
a) Notes: 
How to Name/Classify a Triangle (first name = relates to angles,  last name = relates to sides)
b) Missing Angle Stations:
Problems involving missing angles were posted in Room 45
Students moved around the room to solve the problems (1-10)
Students then selected (2) challenge problems to demonstrate solving for an unknown angle using a 1 step and 2 step equation.
 c) Reviewed and Answered Questions about station problems


Homework:

PLEASE!! be sure ALL homework for 7.1 through 7.3 Extension is completed

QUIZ #1 is MONDAY, MAY 12!!!!
You should be able to:
  • IDENTIFY adjacent, vertical, complementary and supplementary angles
  • SOLVE for a missing angle using: adjacent, vertical, complementary and supplementary angles
  • CLASSIFY/Name a Triangle
  • DRAW a triangle with given angle measurements
  • EXPLAIN WHY certain triangles are NOT POSSIBLE
