Learning Target:
Reviewed Unit Rate w/ a Warm-up
In Class: PLEASE READ!!!!
I (Mrs. White) was out last Friday during 4th and 6th hours.
Upon returning today, there was it was obvious that students were VERY CONFUSED regarding the notes given when I was out. There was a "miscommunication" between myself and my guest teacher, so the notes/examples for 6.1 were not very helpful. (Sorry!)
We will use Tuesday and possibly Wednesday to reteach the concepts: Unit Rate, Equivalent Rates, and Ratios to ensure all students understand and can solve problems with these concepts.!!!
***Most of the hour today was spent taking the Delta Math Screener***
Homework:
(4th hour and 6th hour DO NOT have homework tonight)
1st hour and 3rd hour, please try your best to complete these problems. You should be able to use your notes from 6.1 in your Note Taking book to guide you.
Assignment:
pg 272: #19 (order the ratios from least to greatest)
#26-29 (calculate the unit rate- be sure to LABEL your unit rates!
#33-35 (conversions)
