Happy "Pi" Day!!!

Learning Targets: 

I can measure the circumference & diameter of a circle
I can describe the relationship between circumference & diameter
I can use the relationship to estimate the circumference or diameter of a circle.
 

In Class:

• Students participated in a "pi  Scavenger Hunt" by finding & measuring the circumference & diameter of objects outside the classroom.
• Calculated the "average" circumference/diameter for the class.
• Looked for a "pattern" to describe the relationship between circumference & diameter

Homework:

Answer the 3 questions on the back of the "pi" scavenger sheet.

PRESENTATIONS are also DUE TOMORROW!!!!
