Fraction Operations Review Week!
This week we will focus on reviewing adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. This is a challenging topic for many students. Please practice your multiplication math facts to become more efficient at determining common denominators. These topics are not covered in our math book, so we will be using handouts in packets.

Worked on whiteboards, in class game, & packets to practice. Differentiated instruction by grouping students by need. Assignments were adjusted based on needs.
Homework:
1st & 2nd hour: Packet (Page 20- Subtracting Fractions) odd # problems on BOTH sides
5th & 6th hours: Packet (Page 21 Subtracting Fractions) odd # problems on BOTH sides
** some students were also assigned a few addition problems to continue practicing**

- 5th & 6th hours: Packet 20A Problems 6-10
