  • Students took the Chapter 1 Test in class today.
  • Assignment Log: Students are required to record/track homework assignments- Parents PLEASE sign the assignment log.
  • Problem Solving Packet:  A packet of (3) open ended problems were given to students along with an answer document to record their work and justify their answers.
Homework:
Problem Solving Packet- DUE ON THURSDAY!!!

Reviewed homework
Introduced Benchmark Fractions & corresponding Decimals & Percents (no calculator)
Practiced converting fractions to decimals & percents using a calculator
Started 2.1 Packet- ordering numbers on a number line (fractions, decimals both + and -)

Homework:
 2.1 Practice (back sheet of the packet) problems: 1-3 and 7-9
Try without a calculator then check with a calculator

1st hour: Some students had extra mult/div practice (1-5 on each side)
